i thought it was all quite fair..
tbh the audi vs the bikers...we only saw one side of the story and HEARD their version...thought the copper dealt with it quite fairly tbh...it prob hurt them more to swallow their pride (car driver and bikers) and shake hands and apologise to each other. Omg that pheasant..oowwwww, and yes i cringed when the landie dragged out out the ditch and then accross the road... "Well sir the good news is your bikes out the ditch and wasnt looking toooo bad until the discovery pulling it out dragged it across the road" lol! and top cop for making that range rover with the tints pull bits off them ![]() |

I dont think the programme made the coppers look bad, just demonstrated the sheer biased nature of our courts.

Thought the programme was pretty good. Seemed fair and the fact that the bikers shook hands with the Audi driver suggests to me that the biker was not as innocent as he initially made out (or was seen on film). It doesn't excuse the drivers behaviour but if you were totally innocent you would not accept a 'shake hands' penalty. I know I wouldn't. I think more police out there on the roads doing people for outright stupid riding/driving is a good thing. We all like a hoon but if lives are saved then it's good in my book. The police 'biker' who thought an Africa Twin weighs 500-600kg though was amusing. Loved the Busa, although I didn't agree with the pursuit he made. Doing 100 through a 40 to catch another speeding biker is just stupid and makes little sense to me.

One thing I always notice about these programs
1. Being a traffic cop looks like the easiest job in the world (and quite fun!) 2. The justice system is incompetant beyond belief, unless you're speeding you're pretty much let off 3. The police do themselves no favours by showing how smug, righteous and intolerant they are, even in front of the camera If I wanted a smug git to turn up to jeer after an accident I'd ask for Simon Cowell to turn up and give me his opinion. |

Am I the only one who noticed that ex-Marine '500kg Africa Twin' copper took a statement from the horse rider who clearly said 'he came round the corner very close to the white line, on his side of the road, but very close to the line'...
and then when PC Knownothing popped back up he said that the biker was riding on the wrong side of the road. I don't know about you, but if I'm near the white line on a left hander and then hit the brakes, my bike stands up and runs wide, leaving me on the wrong side of the road. Sure, the Africa Twin rider was probably riding like a prat but I was disappointed by the way the copper didn't seem to have any clue about how bikes work (or what they weigh, clearly). |
