I spent 10 years from my late teens where I totally loved motorbikes.

But life moved on - sold me last FZR thou' around 92/93 and drank the money in Oz

About 7 years ago I bought a Scooter! Simply for the commute - "back in the day" I would never have been seen dead on one! (but they are sooooooo practical!).......I bought the SV back in March this year, not quite on impulse - but more as something to do / buy.....and although my old enthusiasm is not there I do enjoy having a "proper" bike again.

I guess what I am saying is "buy a Scooter" .......or Life moves on, and that's just how it is. and how it's meant to be.

and I thought my leaving thread was self obsessed .. xxxx

I am all excited, I may have a climbing trip on this weekend... Just waiting to hear from my friend.

I can almost feel the rock under my fingers....

I din't think I need to buy any new toys, just let it 'ride' pardon the pun!! ... as you say, things will run their natural course no doubt, what will be will be, not overly worth worrying about!! ... I change my mind pretty often anyhow ... so this time next week I'll prolly have bought a Harley!!!

Me, I just find it quite humorous that folks fall for the same old shenanigan, time after time.....so yeah perhaps you do also have a point too eh.

It sprang from a desperate need to go climbing, after talking to you about how good climbing was.

It is not much a trip though, it is just a day out in the Avon Gorge with one of my old friends whom I used to climb with when I lived in Swindon.

Ahhh, the feel of Avon Limestone under my fingers, I just really hope that she can make it.
