And jester, your right...cracked open the throttle coming up hangar lane the other day to get past some cars quick....skippy skippy front end
Ahh you have GOT to have a go of the 750! If you thought the SV was fast, etc, etc

Maybe after I get back from greece

And I'm also going to book a test ride on a VFR800. Just because I can.

Haha....surely there's gotta be a few more bikes you could try at the same time? I hear the Blackbird is quite a good bike for what you use yours for?

Actualy, you say that muffles...I was looking through AR08 pics the other day and saw someone's blackbird, and I said to my dad "that would be a great bike - big engine, loadsa power, comfy, fast, capable of holding luggage without upsetting the handling too much"

Thing is, the SV does what I want to so well, I can't justify selling it for £1200 and buying another bike for whatever money. I might aswell keep the SV and run it into the ground, then get something else

Ah but you know how it'll go, it'll last for ages and ages and then break terminally only once you have decided you'll keep her...

At least you haven't got a Honda...

Guy at work has a CBR600F, I think of around the 1999 vintage....he has been hoping for it to break so he can justify a new VFR800. I think it's got over 60k on it now...he thought it looked like it was going to go about a year ago...it had overheated or something....turned out he just needed some more coolant

He'll never kill it!

I just had a great thought when I was on the toilet just now

How about I save up for the VFR800, then keep the SV as a general hooning about tool, trackdays tool, that kinda thing

I cant see it working, the VFR will do it all

Yea...but its such a waste of bike, just sitting there doing nothing waitign for me to have time and money to do one track day. Bikes, and more specifically, engines, are made to be used...I can't leave it there, doing nothing...

I'll keep the SV and buy a honda SP2 for weekend hooning.
