If somewhere is uneconomical to run, old and run down, and therefore making making a loss a developer will try and improve it, when they cant they will cut their losses and run.......or burn it down and claim off the insurance.

Its sad but its true.....he's hardly going to beable to sell the place in its current climate.

I understand planning was rejected to make improvements on the place because its listed......another common reason for place getting 'damaged' beyond repair.....planning gets express approval for unsafe buildings
as i said gid knows the man through buisness and he is loaded, so why burn it down. they will rebuild it and do wonders for the town, but thank you for sharing your views. I don't always trust buisness men but i think kerry michals is a saint and well yes he is a buisness man and money is important and stuff, but he also loves weston and wants to do stuff for the people of weston. if it wasn't for men like him weston would be ****.

Lol...met him.....lovely lad.....but yes, a fluffy bunny in real life. lol This thread has made me smile on what is a boring day at work......lol.......just made me realise different peoples online persona to their real life.

Anyhows, back to the topic, it is a shame, as it is one of the quirky points of Weston that I really liked. I hope they take the opportunity to improove it and the sea front, as it badly needs some investment.

Everyone is that kind of guy if enough money is involved!!

Has he had a planning app turned down for it? Or plans for improvment been rejected etc? Anything he could get around if 'someone dropped a conviniently placed fag'??
