Religion out of sport

If we cant have prayer rooms at football clubs because of religion, maybe we should ban all these south americans who do the sign of the cross everytime they run on the pitch.

More seriously, I think that you will also find that in some countries women are not allowed health care if it is provided by male Doctors, which causes problems when there is a shortage of female gynaecologists.

There are muslim doctors here, in the UK; refusing to treat women/drunks/whoever takes their fancy...

Lets not go muslim ( Islam) bashing on this topic please, as for the above I think every doctor in their right mind has the opportunity to refuse to treat drunk and aggressive individuals male/female. And guess what they don't have to be a muslim! I have many friends in the medical professions who have refused treatment to people due to their aggressive or even racist remarks towards asian and non-asian doctors.

But you are right - although all that I think has happened is the anecdotes have just come out of the woodwork - if someone had mentioned Jewish I think it would have been the same.

Certainly my comment about the planes was just something that popped into my head and had no real thought or intent beyond to make people smile behind it.

As said I dont care who or what people "worship", just as long as it doesnt affect me or cost me money.....

It's not muslim bashing. We ARE allowed to use that word in a sentence without being accused of being racist/islamophobic/whatever tripe you like.

The extremists don't encourage the best publicity
