it was essentially a rider who'd crashed, however the accident was severe enough that they had literally swept the bits to the side of the road, of which there were 8-10 - could have been fake because if there hadn't been a helmet and leather jacket in the mix you may well not have identified the remains as human

iirc it was in spain

as before, not pleasant...

Ah I think I've seen this. Yeah not pleasant but stuff like that certainly makes me think. And heaven forbid we should see something that may offend our delicate little eyes. But I guess rules is rules.

I'm not exactly one for censorship, but I can't see how posting pictures of a paté'd biker is going to 'make people think'.

I can see how it might upset people though, and I don't mean in an offending of sensibilities type way either. I've seen nasty pictures before, and I'd imagine I speak for most people that have also, by saying you'd not want to see them again.

I knew someone would take my post a little too literally. It would make 'me' think, I can't speak for others. Generally I don't get offended by grisly pics but that's me and I'm abnormal. The U rating, while sometimes annoying is probably a good thing. If this place ever started to turn into visordown I would be off.

I think that site is full of fakes. Although according to a friend who works in traffic in the TV area, he's attended some messy scenes. Pictures I don't mind, if it were real in front of me I would probably lose my luncheon. Guess I'll never be in traffic, ah well.

Correct, what you see in pictures and on the TV is never the same as when it happens right in front of you.

kind of what i was thinking. if it makes riders think a little, and maybe not take some gambles, maybe its not such a bad thing.
i dont wnat my wife seeing things like that, she worries enough about me racing my dirtbike. ive yet bto tell her how a freind of mine broke his leg recently on his road bike!
maybe just a link with a serious warning would suffice
