new metallica album

Liking it , a few riffs hark back to the "Justice" era and it ties in with other songs from the back catalogue nicely with more than a few passing nods , especially lyrics wise . I downloaded the album for Guitar Hero III as well and have been playing it on there , can`t wait to see them Monday .

Sigh... Common Neio and others, if you dont like Metallica in the first place or havnt even heard the album vote keithd if you must vote... Now the vote means very little.

Ah yes but even if i had listened to it i would have thought the same , so my vote would count.

So i may go listen to it today just to justify my vote.

Listened to it once streamed from their site...yes thats right, Metallica actually GIVING something away for free!

Some good guitar work on it, but it is still a little close to St Anger for me with the snare sound at times - and couple of the lyrics are just dire. Production is way way better than AJFA - you can hear the bass on this one!

Still pre-ordered it though. I have a feeling it will be a grower over time.

I agree with para 1. But I wouldn't waste my time listening to it, as I don't like that sort of noise (it's not music) so I voted kethd.
