New tyres needed.

ive had dunlops over the summer they were fine not mega impressed in cold or wet, with winter on its way i was thinking some thing a little more winter focused but have no idea.

what do you guys think. ?

Any sport touring tyre is more than sufficent for winter IMHO.

Have a read of the tyre section, more threads than you can shake a stick at about tyre choice.

Just finished scrubbing in my new set of Pilot road 2s... Bloody brilliant I reckon.

My mate swears by pirelli diablo-corsa's... in my experience so far with the sv i can only tell u what not to get... a metzeler MEz4... worst back tyre iv ever felt, it wont spin at all under any acceleration... but under the slightest bit of braking on a road that isnt completely bone dry its gona twitch and then slide... thers not even the usual ammount of warning, no feeling whatso ever, it twitches and then snaps out from under u! im changin it as soon as i can afford to... aaah bein a student

I agree! i have a MEz4 on the back and its fine under accel but under any breaking in even slightly damp conditions it doesnt even slide it just flicks out! its terrible, cant wait to change it! personally wouldnt recommend the MEz4 dont see how anyone wud class that as fun, oh and it does far less mileage than some others as its quite a soft compound i fink (confuses me how its so slippery then)
