It seems the Ducati guys enjoyed the day too

Just don't mention the off-road excursion

Something along the lines of....road is closed...the bridge was just a big holes in the ground........but there is a public footpath to avoid the 5mile detour lol

Ooh very good

Well, while you were all out having fun I was sitting at a table trying to overhaul my gsxr calipers, I know which I'd rather have been doing

That's what happens when you ride with the Ducati lot.

Option 1 - 5 miles extra riding on some great bikes on great roads.

Option 2 - Lets get to the end of the ride so we can drink tea and have a wee and a quick nap

Pete was leading so there really only was option 2.

It's good to see Skip hasn't lost the SV spirit. He'll take any road as long as it means he can do some extra miles.........good on you.

Well riding on the footpath seemed rather appropriate as someone was going at a walking pace or maybe a slow jog!

I would like to thank, reluctantly, BBD for organising this, geeing us up and for also being TEC after the number plate/missing diversion debacle. Skip for being drop off and guiding everyone to MS, and Brittany together with his lovely escort for the day Kerri for also being a good sport as TEC and getting his and his charge to Rutland. Binky owes you big time.

Also nice to see Mike at Uppingham. You could see he'd have loved to come further with us. Next time eh?

Lets try and keep the momentum going on these rideouts, even if we just meet up for a chat somewhere.

I kept stopping to pick up all those loose parts that kept falling of all those Ducatis......going to make myself a fortune selling them on Ebay

On a more serious note Pete.....do you have a Rectifier and or altenator for an SV?
