1. The justice system hasn't yet spoken on this case. I await their decision eagerly. However, despite knowing that our system is flawed and some decisions are questionable, I think it is better than many, many other systems. It is based on evidence and case law, and the penal system does what it cam with limited resources
2. NO EMPHATICALLY I WOULD NOT think differently if my child or grandchild had been hurt in any way. I am not shallow enough to want simple animal revenge. Justice YES, blind revenge NO. I would not want or indeed expect any friend of mine to want to lynch a person who hurt me or mine
3. Fair enough point that I don't happen to agree with but accept it's validity. My problem is with those falsly accused, wrongly convicted or subject to the illiterate ( remember lynching paediatricians)

Nice to see we have descended into a eye for a eye mentality.

Let just abandon justice and go back to the dark ages, while we are at it, the crusades looked like a lot of fun...

I hate news papers, news and all this so called journalistic pish, for all we know this information on the site could be rubbish. While there are failings in the justice system then are also wins. It is a system controlled by us, humans, and we are not perfect, after all if we lived in a perfect society them we would not need a justice system.

Any way back to the pub I go.
