warning...

It is typical that epoxy paints do not bond to latex self leveling screeds...

Just so yas know..

If you want a hard serface then use epoxy paint, if you want soft, I would use carpet tiles... that way you can replace the ones in the middle with new ones when they is ruined

i used some of this not so long ago, the click together wooden stuff from B&Q, t'was the cheapest one they do and it done the jobs well, easy to fit and looks good and easy to keep clean, but this was for a hallway, i wouldnt think it would be much good on a garage floor, uneven surface id guess and also as said its not the stongest of things, ive dropped a glass in the hallway and have a big dent.break in the wood that is now covered with a mat so workshop tools etc wood probaly scratch it up and dent it

Yep, that's the main reason I want the one hangman linked, looks like the best of both worlds: self levels and results in smooth paint-like wipe clean surface, rather than one or the other as garage floor paint or self levelling screed dictates..

How tough is epoxy paint really though? Will it chip off with center stands and such on it?

I am thinking for something on the garage floor also. Mainly so I can sit on the floor when playing (I will not use fixing or adjusting cos my skills are too poor) with the bikes and to help insulate the room.

Has anyone used something like

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-MOTOFLOOR-...1%7C240%3A1318

At the price it does not look too bad.

with these mats my bike (see attached) will be superbly camouflaged. Thus stopping any rouge tea leaf dead in there tracks

Dunno, it looks like the stuff they use in industrial garages, warehouses etc. which can. Anyone in the UK got any experience of this armorgarage stuff?
