The new test forms have a box for filtering so assumedly its accepted that it may occur and will be judged much as any other manouver.

Funny you should mention that but the mrs filtered in front of a chav who took offence and the mrs gave him a right earfull. He went to get out of the car (showing off to his mate) and didn't notice me coming up the outside stopping him getting out. I tapped on his window and quicky pointed out that he was about to attack a woman and that she would kill him anyway and told him to sit the **** down before he got battered. No surprise but he looked really embarressed as his mate laughed at him for being a ****. it was sooooo funny!

I was gonna say, didn't think you liked filtering much at all! Did your instructor put you off in the beginning at all?

IMO probably not,

as others have said too much to go wrong and time sat in traffic will eat into the total time of the test

although i was followed by a guy in a car (bless him, he did not want to get wet in the rain)

My instructor said, if you get chance do it as the test instructor was in a car and loosing him means he cant see you (meaning he cant fail you lol) at one point i was 3-4 cars ahead of mine (thinking yes!!!!) but then I came to an island and everyone went straight on where we went left, so he was back on my tail :P
Funny thing was I got 1 minor for (not knocking indicator off soon enough, although I couldnt see you because a bus was inbetween us) I didnt want to argue so just said yeah yeah cool.
