If you have no pennies, why are you looking at Duc's?

They're worse than women for swallowing money into an ever enlarging black pit known as the bike workshop.

Blimey Quiff, first an alfa 147 and now a ducati, you are either loaded, mad or have an understanding bank!!!

Both look the nuts, but could be a bit expensive for keeping on the road!

No mention of Service History or Belt Change.
The belts need to be change every 2 years regardless of mileage.

The *MLC Bank?

*Mid Life Crisis Bank

He'll be saying his "GF turns 17 in a few months and is looking to do her CBT and is anyone selling a CBR125" any minute now.

Oh dear,

Quiff, although we've never met I've always figured that you were a decent, reasonably sane (as much as any of us here are anyway) sort of chap . . .

. . . SO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING ???

Now as is well known (and documented) on these hallowed pages I really don't like Ducati's - however, if I had the money to spare I would buy a 916 - to use as a coffee table - purely because it is such an iconic bike.

So, if you really want a piece of Italian form-over-function-mechanical-porn why not look for one of these ?

Obviously in your case you be buying it to ride - of course that would be when it's not in the workshop or stranded at the side of the road !!

Seriously though, if it's what you want then do it !! I'm sure you don't want to be in the position one day of having to say "you know, I really regret not buying that <insert whatever you like here> when I had the chance".
