[quote=Ed;1769312]Really really simple and I never thought it would cause so much offence.

Take all the bins away

Ed, our office also implemented this change to the system and now we have recycling and waste bins at central locations around the office floors.

The first few days pleaple forgot that it happened, and were throwing there waste on the floors due to forgetting that the bins were removed - so the cleaners were even more p'd off to be adding to there workload.

So now they have an easy life of just emptying the central bins, a quick feather duster on the desks "great, not" - and a speedy hoover and there off.

Now we are all used to it, and quite welcome getting up and walking to these points to have a break.

Your office will come good in the end. Promise.

Good call mate - might have un-balanced the running being unevenly weighted and all that. Can't have you running around in circles!!

Never knew that so many peeps had done it already. Too early to tell but it looks better without unsightly bins all around

good for you, is a consequence of their own idleness/lazyness so it may make them realise thier errors!!, leaving confidential paperwork in a bin unshredded does not sound good. plus doing your bit for the environment

They took the bins (next to desks) away where I work too. We have really good recycling facilities and not having a bin makes you much more inclined to recycle.
