I would be concerned that as a noob and a bit rubbish I would not be able to keep up with you experienced folks. I would probably go to a 'meet up at X' but not a rideout yet.

BTW the C&f road is going to get rear facing average speed cameras very soon.

If you did come out for a ride, there would be no pressure on you to go faster than you felt comfortable. There are always riders of differing abilities and experience. That's why we usually have a TailEndCharlie that will always stay at the back... Come along on one of the rides. It'll be fun.

Regarding the average speed cameras on the A537, are they definately going up now. I thought it was just a proposal atm???

You haven't seen Binky ride yet then Ace-T.

Certainly on any Org rideout I've been on, the inexperienced and cautious riders have been well looked after.

We all had to start somewhere.

Yup. I still remember my first org rideout, i always felt like i was positioned wrongly when on the road, slow, misjudged corners etc. I just asked advice from others and consequently feel i have learnt a lot from other org riders.

I am now s**t hot in the saddle.

I did my first rideout with Binky, DMC, Ed and Ratty the other week, it was only the 5th time I'd ridden the SV since passing my test and to be honest I took some cr*p lines through some corners and my road positioning wasn't fantastic, but I had a great day out and we always rode at a pace I was comfortable with. Just watching the guys ride was really helpful and I think my riding improved that day. So come along on a rideout, have a great time, meet nice folks and pick up some tips to improve your riding.

I dunno. Our mate with the R! couldn't believe, on the Boxing Day run, that you were on a restricted bike.
