And mighty boosh, welcome to the forums good to see so many new users popping up all the time. I think southerners have a different perception of violence to northerners think that guy might have taken a kicking if he'd pulled that stunt up north (especially the ***** comment). Anywho, he shouldn't have messed with me.... I know the hardest man in bradford.
Hey, I'm sure your'e a pussy cat under that exterior.

oooh, just as a note....if anything like this ever happens again....leave the bike alone. If police were called, better to have been able to take the moral high ground and make the other guy out to be the w**ker than be tarred with that brush yourself.
Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to do the same as you in the same situation, but would get more pleasure in knowing that I could keep my cool and let him take all the s**t if it came down to it.

Nah I was just wondering... A military police officer doesn't strike me as the sort of person who'd ride the wrong way with out lights lol...

Doubt it'll happen again to be honest I should have thought to look the other way because it's london. I'm usually quite calm and collected and didn't even know what was going on until he called me a *****... anywho, my calf is just a bit bruised so I'm on the mend. As for his bike, I'm sure it'll polish out

True....but just a club boxer might.....that's more what I was getting at.

I saw your other question and his wheel could have torn the muscle, so that would be super sore.....hope it does feel better soon.
Also.....who cares about his bike......I might want to take the moral high ground, but it doesn't mean I don't think he deserved a bit of a stomping on his wheel!

Now did you actually stomp on his wheel or stand on it as you lost your balance when you got knocked into!!!!!!

I live near St Andrews which is a student place with lots of foreign students who regularly cycle the wrong way up one way streets. It really annoys me especially when the roads are so narrow and they would be the first to complain if something happened.

I am a regular cyclist, motorcyclist, car, van and lorry driver but not all at the same time obviously!!!

I usually always use that cos the traffic is busy down there, but a group of about 20 tourists had gathered right outside the tesco front door and I couldn't be arsed wading through them and I was heading back towards the square anyway)... So getting run over by a push bike seemed like the easier option

Yep mad, mad busy round central London.lorrys, buses, cars, motorbikes, pushbikes, pedestrians, tourists.

Used to work on the street cleaning for the local authority, one guy took out an electrick pavement sweeper/cleaner.

He ran over a blind person whilst using it.

When asked what had happend and why ne had run over a blind pedestrian, he replied.......

He should of heard it coming.

Should have waited till he got up then decked him again - then called the police while standing on his throat.

"He ran in to me officer, then as he was getting up, he got abusive and started towards me. In fear for my life, I lashed out, knocking him to the floor, where I then restrained him until you arrived. Oh and by the way he turned illegally into this street from that street. Can you also please provide me with his name and address so that I can pursue him through the courts with a personal injusry claim. Thank you officer."

Simple really
