Black tie is hardly appropriate wedding attire. Morning suit would be fine for a church wedding, or a fancy country house ceremony. So really a two piece suit (light colour, single breasted) is the way to go.

Why not compromise a little - jeans can look really nice with a shirt and blazer, any idea exactly what your lady will be wearing, a link????

Right, I'm definately not going to wear a suit, or a kilt. So it's sort of a toss up between :-
Black 'jeans style' trousers (not denim) with a smart, probably white shirt, a waistcoat of similar colour to Ibby's dress and a tie of some sort (not sure on colour) or Same trousers and shirt a above witha pale linen jacket and a tie to match Ibby's dress. Ibby's dress is http://www.karenmillen.com/fcp/produ...od903000052444 |

Pale linen suit in M&S with a pair of loafers. They look really good and don't cost a fortune. Remember you'll be looking at the pics for years and in 20 - 30 yars time you might think 'hmm, shoulda dressed up a bit'.
Congratulations on the nuptials ![]() |
