I was taking a wide line into clearways, and coming out tight. I cound have turned in slightly earlier and drifted out on the exit but felt faster and had more confidence scrubbing the speed off, tipping it in and applying the throttle progressivly as I came out.

yes it was, but you telling me it wouldn't be better on a proper track, that was a teaser for the real thing.

Not done an airfield one myself but looking forward to it, perhaps the one FG1 is arranging.

But there is something very special about riding on a track such as Brands or the other main ones, knowing you're riding in the tyre tracks of some of the worlds finest riders that have gone before you.

Every time i go thru the tunnel at Brands to the pit lane i get this knot in my stomach knowing ALL the greats have passed that very spot. Maybe its just me but you cant buy that feeling.

WEll if the SV crew arrange another track day at Brands, I could very much be tempted.

Would like to get another one before the years out for sure. My old man fancies it (might even take his LE), and he's gonna perswade his friend with a Yellow RS t do it too. Plus im trying to coax two of my friends to do one.

Now the question is, date.. Im going to america soon, so don't really wanna book until im back anyway.

God it was fun though I can't stop watching my video ha ha.

I've got the pro shot links, but tbh, they are no better than my dads pictures, maybe 1-2 of them, but otherwise im a little gutted.

Needed the photographer at clearways on my last session where my dad was, but as you can see by those last few shots, he was unfortunate to catch a good one

Yeh, the first time at brands i bought the full CD of pics, last time i didnt bother after i looked at them. The pics our lot took were so much more personal a remonder of the day than just some bloke snapping bikes for a living.
