Default Getting shafted at work!! Time for a new job!

Fed up of getting shafted at work, latest is that they want to change my job title and half of my role.

Basically i am wanted to become a skivvy for an entire team... No extra pay despite the extra work load, requirement to work later....

One of my more senior work mates has advised i tell them to stick it...

Problem is... Credit crunch, Christmas, no jobs, nightmare....

What to do??

Anyone have any mates in recruitment??

Feel free to ignore this if you wish.... just thinking out loud!

No harm in looking elsewhere just sound out any business you look to move to, I've been told I'll be in a similar situation in january (already pretty much do it tbh) but if the pay doesn't increase lot's I'll be ****ed.

Oh apart from the obvious ,tell them you want paying for it .

Don't go into accounts! I wish my management accounting teacher at college (BTEC business studies) wasn't such an enthusiastic guy. Now a Fellow of the Charted Institute of Management Accountants and bored ****less. Most finance jobs are being moved offshore in medium to large companies too so career path could be a dead end or worse.

Lots of work about in IT project management. Bigger companies in this field always need good support staff who can then progress up the ranks. Although our new overlords are now moving most of our project support to Brazil...

Good luck!

umbrella companys have been shaftin sub contractors in the building game for a few years now.

Deal with it, at least you have a job, theres millions out there without a job that would replace you tomorrow if given the chance.

Sorry, but its the modern climate we live in
