i know, but my maxxis are usles in the wet but still have some life in them so just want to ware them down/ use them up over the sommer months

I have them on my SV, but due to its rottor issue I've not really have time to try them out fully.

Glad you're happy with the tyres & service Taz & Tonyk. Twas indeed a pleasure. Unlike when that Alpine chappie comes in, all he does is drink our tea, & moan a lot

Anyone yet tried the Storm 2 Ultra as reviewed in RiDE this month? Having failed to give poor hubby any ideas about what I wanted for my Christmas and birthday presents, and with our wedding anniversary next week, I was thinking I could ask for a new set of tyres - I'm romantic like that

The Ride review suggested they were for faster, heavier bikes, but they are available in SV sizes so job's a goodun.

^ could that mean that there compound would be harder ? posibly not as good in the wet for the sv because its lighter
