How long's the garden? Air rifle if it's fairly short, crossbow if it's a bit bigger.

Foxes are vermin, they kill for the sake of it. Ask anybody who has been unfortunate enough to get them in their hen runs or any shoot that has got them amongst their poults just before the season starts and loose a considerable income.

Only thing to do with them is kill them as soon as you see them.
