Default bit of zombie killing :)

new show just out in the states called walking dead
just watched the pilot episode and i must say it pretty good
basicly its 28 days later but in series form
2 brit actors as leads, one was in jericho (a cracking series in its own right) and the other guy was in human traffic
special effects seem top drawer with realistic blood ,gore and animatronics doing some cool decapated zombie bits,
yes we know the pretext (husband trying to find wife and kid after waking up in hospital after getting shot) and it also seems so far to stick with the standard stereo type zombie rules (bite turns you same as cuts and the classic take out the brain to kill them drills)
but i have high hopes for this, and tbh im surprised it hasnt been done sooner
the chance to carry the story longer than 2 hours should open up some interesting posibilities

every man has a zombie survival plan, iirc there was a thread on here not so long ago

so i say give it a watch and see how it pans out but so far so good

and remember the basics, get weapons ,get food, and get a suitably Ateamed up vehicle to travel in, then start killing some undead

dave
