Yes, it has the same connectors. You need to angle the trumpet opening downwards so it doesn't collect rain. When I first fitted mine it filled with water the first time it rained. Fortunately I dried it out and it worked again.

If you are just after a cheap horn then just buy a s/h one off ebay from any 12v bike!

You'll spend more on a horn/relay and wiring that you would on just a bike specific horn and (unless you do it properly) be left with something worse than the original.

Thats what i was thinking in the first place, just plug in a 12v std car horn and be done. I'm good with electrics but its weather i can be bothered, was only tinking about it as i'm stripping the front end to respray the sub frame and replace my headlight.

Do a search for stebel or wiring diagram by my username, I posted a schematic to help fit the nautilus a while back....not sure if it's still on here somewhere

EDIT: think this is it, but can't see it 'cos I am in work

Just a thought but my horn wasnt working at all, cleaned up the connectors on the horn itself and a blast of WD40 on the connectors and switch and now works a charm. Dont know if you have tried this but worth a go before splashing out.

The diagram shows they relay's coil is wired in series with the original horn which I think is wrong. If you want to keep the original horn, they should be wired in parallel or simply connect the old horn's wiring straight to the relay's coil.

From the specs on they website http://www.stebel.it/public/stebel.pdf the Magnum uses about 6Amps while the Nautilus Compact uses 18Amps.

The fuse on the SV is rated 10A and also feeds the signals and a few other bits. So for the Nautilus you will most certainly need a relay whereas with the Magnum you might get away with a straight swap. Personally I would fit a relay in both cases.
