I've fit one of these onto my pointy sv650 (bought off ebay posted for about £ and it makes a nice difference. Drilled off the small bits off of the throttle stops on the tube. Can actually hit full throttle in one twist, but if anyone else is like me and wants that little extra oomph off the line try what i did. I bought one of these, installed it, 2 days later wanted more so i got a cd and cut off a small semi circle which i glued into place in the slot where the throttle cable initally runs... makes it pull through the low end revs stupidly fast and then have the throttle length at the top end that you normally would with this tube. Couple this with a race can and an easy flow air filter and you'll pull easy sat down 2nd gear power wheelies when you pin the throttle

Ace - ordered today from Wemoto, lazy so-and-so that I am. I'm looking forward to this mod, I think it'll make a lot of difference given that I pretty rarely do the hand shuffle to full throttle with the stock grip.

My grips arrived today and I've already lunched the right bar end screw - don't even try a screwdriver... the bolt is made of edam.. straight at it with the impact driver and the left came off easy as pie. Off to screfix now for some easy-outs and see if they can match the bolt

[edit] Only the head is made of cheese! I broke two drill bits and wore down the thread on one easyout, but it came free eventually [/edit]
