More adjustment on the suspension, risers as standard on the S model with Clip ons for an R model. Sportier wheels, better luggage points and larger tank. More supportive padding in the front seat. Bigger pillion pad and lower pillion pegs for comfort. Prettier paint and sort that stupid front guard so that it does stop road spray from soaking the electrics!

Regarding GSXR front ends, you're wanting to make a bike better. The mod is popular because it does just that. For people who want to make the bike work as it should have in first place and not some chav c*** wanting to make it look inder vid jewell innit. Who cares if it isn't original.

Not sure what I'd do to the SV, except bring back the good looking curvy frame and scrap the orrible pointy and gladys pricepoint sh*te!
Agree with the frame design. Ducati have hardly changed the basic design of the monster in 20 years nor have MV with the F4 for 10 years

One I should have added, bring back the SV thou and bang a V4 in it

Wasn't the move from Curvy to Pointy a bit like they did when they went from Slabside to Slingshot GSXR's, that the frame was inferior but much cheaper to make?

Calling YC and the shed of Doom

I know with the GSXR 400 the Slingshot (Gk73) was a better frame than the earlier ones (Gk71) but there was about 6 years between the frames

The Slabside frame is huge big lumps of extruded aluminium welded together, the slingshot is cast like a pointy, dunno if it's relevant but a slabside frame will keep a polish but a slingshot always goes dull after a few days, different quality metal maybe?

yes the pointy frame was cheaper and inferior to make.....cost and corner cutting to keep it to budget, when they went FI.

In what way is it inferior? Less stiff? Heavier?
