Hi, sorry to hijack your thread a little!

Yesterday when on my SV (with Beowulf exhaust), I tried to accelerate in 5th from about 3.5krpm, the bike just stalled and backfired massively. It started back up straight away, but im also getting a few problems when the engine is half warm, when blipping the throttle sometimes it stalls. It sounds as though the engine is being flooded with petrol. Im currently running the standard air filter, but Im thinking I could be in need of a K&N? If I do this will I need a spark plug change (also restricted ECU).

Thanks Guys.

There are a lot of things that can cause it.
From duff plugs to map sensors .

You Tried a Performance filter as they sometimes counter act each other ?
Or for a much cheaper, better solution, get the ECU remapped at a Suzuki dealer.

Its all that a PC does and a PC is REALLY more of a bling thing on an SV650

Mine did that & it never affected it - I had a viper can on it with no DB Killer in as I got fed up of people pulling out on me.
