Too much homebrew me thinks

Another option is Yamaha FJ1200 clip ons which will fit curvies, but I'm not sure about pointies

Don't give you as much as a rise as the LSL's and you will need to sort out the brake reservior fixing, as the FJ's don't have a fixing point like the SV clip ons

Realy was a no brainer to just drill a quite small hole through the large/thick solid plastic support rib. Realy shouldn't put you off. I am realy happy with the resulting riding position now.

Fettle is a much nicer word.
