Hundreds of miles? No, but have tried a friends 'cruiser' for a laugh, which it wasn't. Maybe my arms aren't long/hairy enough.

Thread your way? Did you not read the op vid comments by HD riders saying if you dare break their formation you better not be stopping for gas or a microwave burrito in that county?

Nutters lol.

You can't do that on the roads here, never knowing what's round t he corner, or who's gonna see it as an invite to race. I love biking, who is to say my enjoyment is any less because I don't choose to blast everywhere?

It always raises my hackles when people slag off other peoples bikes and makes me wonder if they're happy with theirs. I also find a lot of Harley owners have maybe had accidents on sports bikes, and have purposefully bought a Harley so they take it easier, and there's nothing wrong with that in fact it's to be applauded.
It may be that this isnt aimed at me but in case it is I will point out, I never mentioned Harleys, my statements are towards Crusiers - Yes that includes Harleys but it doesn't single them out.
Again I also never said the tarmac ribon is a racetrack, I've not seen anyone on here say "your is to say my enjoyment is any less because you don't choose to blast everywhere" I've only seen those who are defending riding slowly.
I've said I don't see the point in having a bike which is NOT fast or nimble, that does not translate as you MUST permanently ride at WOT under and overtaking as you go.

Worryingly this suggests you're arms are hairy enough to qualify though lol.

Still the Essex ones i rode with in the late 90's(on a yam xv lol) did stick in formation.
Trying to get past the Essex Wings on the sudbury road was a whole different ball game...
