If my foot slips and i end up having a crash how is it my fault? If there's no way you knew it was going to happen then why they have to find someone to blame is beyond me. If an animal came out from now where down a country lane and it caused me to hit another car well thats life. We can only as human beings go so far to try to avoid accidents. I suppose the law could always say well maybe you should have been going even slower or maybe you should of done something else but in the heat of the moment we're only human and we make mistakes.

It is also due to the fact that families found it not accurate to descibe a situation as an accident if someone was killed or injured due to someone elses negligence. The goverment actually listened for a change!!

Wizurd worry not. Although someone or something is at fault does not mean it will lead to the long arm of the law whipping you.it is just a basic way of stating an error big eg. incompetence or small eg. foot got caught on a pedal has occured. Its a jargon thing!

Yeah, they do listen sometimes, but, it is not very often...

lol i reckon he did just drive into me. Silly old bugger. To be fair i know he didnt mean to do it so thats cool. But i reckon in that instance he was at fault because he didnt look forward before pulling away. I suppose thats a more lack of concentration than something unforseen happening to him i.e. loose animal. However looking at it now as well i can say that he made a mistake thats possible for anyone to make. Tricky aint it

O and yer - def the animals fault. I live on a farm and the farmers dog seems to like risking its life everyday with cars lol

Its an awful thing but if someone kills someone else in a traffic accident and they are within the speed limit and driving with due care and attention then surely it is an accident. I know the family of the deceased may well find it hard to deal with at the time hearing the word "accident" but these things do happen. I'm heartless i guess. O and yes i have had a close friend killed in a crash so got some idea of what people and family go through.
