The stops were good and balanced really well Mark , some lovely spots to be honest , I just seemed to go off the boil a little earlier than some others . One guy had his Mrs on the back and he said "What happened to you ? One minute you were blasting the bends , the next minute you had your hand in the air and waved us all past"

Simple answer was I had reached my limit , gone into a corner not paying attention due to fatigue , flipped the bike over to exit the Left/Right bend in the forested part and exited in a crappy gear and had to negotiate the next set of bends with the last one still on my mind and compounded the problem . Amber light in Brain goes on and it`s time to drop back and relax and follow some other Mug

Oh I do much the same, although normally I'll have enough time for a fag break, or at worst enjoy catching up again after....., but in truth I don't impress anyone but myself these days.

Cheers Mark.

Nice in small doses Nothing to do for fun though. Harbour was frozen solid a couple of weeks ago, Decided better of walking on it to see how thick it was.

The route was slightly too long for me last year like Badger, I'd had enough long before the finish. But with a bike that has higher than standard SV gearing it proved to be pretty tedious and frustrating to say the least. Lucky for me Pmapp and Badger were very patient and guided me when I'd had enough.

The only thing that peed me off, was although an absolutely beautiful view above whichever lake it was....mountain climbing off road wasn't fun!!

Now had have had the right SV working, as I found out last summer on Rictus;s epic ride.....I'd have had as much fun as you guys, in the parts where I'd hated it on the other bike.
