Reality bites.
Unfortunately not everyone has the privelage of putting their machine inside. What are we supposed to do, wheel it into the kitchen every night and cook around it? GET REAL FELLA ! **** happens no matter what precautions you take.
Rubbing peoples noses in it is certainly not the answer.

It's the sort of comment a bike thief would come out with. Smell a RAT!

Why is it twaddle? If you leave a GSXR unchained to anything, you are asking for trouble. It's like leaving a pin out of a grenade and being surprised when it explodes.

I may be making incorrect assumptions, but I thought Kate had a Honda S2000.

I've left my SV not only unchained, but also with my lid & gloves on top of it. It gets worse, the keys were in the ignition at the time. It was left in this state over night, and in the morning I was running around looking for my gloves, lid & keys. Only to breathe a sigh of relief when I saw them out the window. Then sheer horror as I realised what might of been.

If it'd walked that night, yes, entirely my fault. A theif couldn't ask for easier pickings.

But I'd of still be ****** off if anyone had of turned around to me with the comments you've expressed to Kate.

People skills aren't mandatory, just nice

My friend. Your comments where noted, and frankly, it was the rude condesending undertone in your post that i think got backs up, that along with your past goings on on this forum. I agree, that if you dont lock it to something then it will go, but every circumstance is different. What about my mate who had his two bike locked, in an alarmed garage stolen huh? Your the one that Reality will bite one day, an i hope im around to see it, 'cause i will laugh and laugh..

Statistically it probably won't, as I don't live in a scabby area.

Ooooh, another generalising post by mpaton.

Keep it up fella, really endering me to your warming personality. Mind, I can't speak for the rest of the org

EDIT: "Not a scabby area" I'd interpret that as a "well off area." More disposable income, more likely to have a "nickable" bike, more likely that thieves will target. Hmm. Do theives target "scabby" area's where people might have bikes, but generally (statistically) cheaper ones, or "well off" areas where the caliber of bikes should, in theory, be better?
