Well I definitely enjoyed myself! My first time riding a bike was lots of fun but I did have a spectacular crash right at the beginning! I'd only just sat on the thing and was just learning how to use the clutch and edge forward slowly when I opened the throttle too much (yes i'm a dumbass novice) just as the clutch reached biting point and I somehow must have released the back break as I began shooting up the runway at full speed and then squeezed on the front break to stop! Whoops! I ended up in a heap with the bike on top of me! Luckily I was ok and the bike just suffered a broken indicator. Oh dear.

Anyhoo with that out of the way I got back on, relaxed and began riding the bike the correct way! Soon I was turning and changing gear which built up my confidence and I had a really good lesson. Can't wait to get back on it again now!

Glad you had a good time. It's great having so much space to practice on isn't it! Good luck with your CBT on Saturday.

Thanks Sarah. I'm going to do another lesson with Audra on Monday and do my CBT next Sat now. I just want to be really prepared. Not harm in learning as much as possible. After my crash I lost a lot of confidence and don't want that to happen in front of 5 men on Sat so just going to do it after a little more practice.

I saw Trevor and he said 'Are you Cat from sv650?' (I booked the lesson under the name Catherine!) So I said yes and she said he'd spoken to you about me! Hehe!

i would miss out the 125. I did cbt one weekend and 2 days das next weekend then test.

a weeks course would be good. maybe slightly dearer but still cheaper than buying a 125.

you can do it
