The battery is a MF CT12A-BS from ebay £47 INC postage next day. They list two battery's for the sv a CT12-BS = 130MM tall,CT12A-BS = 105MM tall.

Haynes manual suggests to put blue thread locker on shock bottom bolt. I forgot to do that, but the bolt can't come off completely, dog bones are holding it.

cheers for the replies,
forgive me if this is a stupid question, but how do you tell if the nut is self locking? Also would you recommend using copper grease on the nut or does that defeat the point? haha thanks |
