The battery is a MF CT12A-BS from ebay £47 INC postage next day. They list two battery's for the sv a CT12-BS = 130MM tall,CT12A-BS = 105MM tall.

just got my zx10r shock and was wondering do you guys use a thread locker like loctite threadlocker?

any help would be great

Haynes manual suggests to put blue thread locker on shock bottom bolt. I forgot to do that, but the bolt can't come off completely, dog bones are holding it.

The bottom bolt should have a self locking nut on it, so you shouldn't need to loctite it unless it's a bog standard nut.

cheers for the replies,

forgive me if this is a stupid question, but how do you tell if the nut is self locking? Also would you recommend using copper grease on the nut or does that defeat the point? haha
