I had the same thing as you some years ago when I was in the air force, I REALLY fancied one of the Wraf,s but she worked in the avionics bay and was surounded by blokes, however I used to drive an ambulance and every thursday I used to take her and a few other people up to Raigmore hospital in Inverness to visit some clinic. So over a period of time it went from smiling to small talk to chatting, anyone, one day, I decided right **** or bust so I drives down to were she worked walked straight inthe avionics bay and said in a little boy lost kind of way ' errr do ya err fancy a drink sometime ? '' yeah 'she said 'love too'. So I felt about 10 ft tall and walks out with a spring in my step smiling at all these avionics fitters as I went out, the problem was that the clinic I used to take her too (and half the wrafs at my camp) was the Inverness sexually transmitted disesaes clinic, oooops. Still sometimes its lemons sometimes its lemonade. So give it a go what have you got to lose ( or possibly gain )

As in nothing happened, or no treatments were required?

Today, I went past, she was there again & she had seen me but then looked in completely another direction.

Not going to waste any more time on this. It's too much hassle. No reward is worth this.
Stop wasting time and ask her out.

She might say yes, then you'll have a whirlwind romance, propose, marriage, emigrate to sunny lands, have babies, live out the rest of your life surrounded by fat grandkids and cats... that sounds really rubbish actually, but she might say yes and you'll have a nice drink with her.

The M word, M..m..mother-in-law??? *Runs away screaming*

Plus why are you apologising???

Anyway, Kinvig, I think your problem is you've now put her on a pedestal in your mind that you think you can't reach. You've convinced yourself she's not interested in you. She's prob just like you, and if she does say no, it's her loss, at least then you don't have that doubt in your mind and you can move on. You can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs and other assorted phrases.
