Saw a nice modded beford rascal, had a welded mount between the front seats (at the back of/home made) and you removed the front wheel and used the front axel to go through it to fix the front forks, makes it very secure.
you can also fit larger bikes by turning the front wheel and opening the side door. it's small, cheap to run and easy to park. not much use for more than one bike though. Cheers Mark.

Took some hunting but look on this page at the series 2 trailer, its ideal, used one to carry a bike a lot heavier than an SV the other week. Very easy to put together, can be done by one person but two was easier, bike can be loaded/unloaded by just one person and all the extra kit can be put in the cage boot/back seat

Managed so squeeze a 125 into a Peugeot Partner van with a rear bulkhead, from corner to corner. Plenty room for the ramp, spares and tools but it's tight for the bike itself. Anything with a fairing could be worse still.
I think you're going to struggle to get a large bike into an Escort van or similar with a low level roof. The slightly larger Expert suggested earlier seems perfect for your needs. |

I know of a company that makes foldy trailers for £450, and they're based just north of London so you'd be able to collect and save on delivery costs.
I shall try and track down their details tomorrow if you're interested. |

I've managed to fit a curvey S in my old expert van with a bulkhead in it, had to put it in corner to corner though got ramp and a fair few other bits in with it. Have also fitted a pointy S in it as well but that was after the bulkhead was taken out

If length isn't a problem, but width is ... you will be needing one of these They are ugly as feck, but only about as wide as a car - however you have the length!!
![]() I have one of these* and get 2 bikes (and all gear) in it ![]() *well I have an E2000, which is exactly the same, except petrol, not diesel!! Last edited by Blue_SV650S; 15-11-07 at 08:59 PM. |

<£1000 mechanically sound, but undesirable car and a collapsible trailer. Tools, wheels tyres etc. can be slung in the boot/back seats.
Cheap vans tend to have been run into the ground from what I've seen. |
