R1 from 2004 is the Brembo badged radial type, it's the same bit as the current R6 one. IIRC my eldest had a radial m/cyl on her old 2005 R6, but her 2004 R6 trackbike doesn't.

I've had 2 fitted and they both felt the same, so I don't think it was fitting error, but you never know

One thign to note for the street bikes is that most radials stick forwards further than standard, and that can cause fairing clearance issues- mine just barely fits, we're talking 1mm maybe, and with the R6 one I trimmed the adjuster slightly to give it clearance.

Mine does have the same feeling, but I too prefer a bit of play and not a solid action.

Not had any clearance issues at all with the Gixer one. Is it because you have different bars on yours Northwind?

Wouldn't have thought so, the bar position is quite similiar to standard... The GSXR one might be a bit less protrudey, the piston is at an angle if memory serves. Ianofbhills had the same issue but I can't even remember what m/c that was (GSXR maybe) and he had the same clipons as mine too so that's not too useful
