Well I've got one of each and I've only ridden the SV once I think since getting the Daytona! After a very slow, wobbly, scary test ride I flew home on the SV. It felt all homely like a big warm armchair. The difference is huge. You can't ride it "like a shopping trolley" (Thanks Luke ) for long so you have to give your legs a work out. I wouldn't get one if I had to ride every day, I'd go for the Street. (I test rode that and scared myself stupid). Size wise I find it ok and I'm 6'2". It is hard to tuck in but Powerbronze make a very undoublebubble-like sports screen which should sort that out. Engine's an absolute beauty. I've got the Triumph sports can and I'm more than happy with the sound. It's enough to click up a few gears if you see Mr. Plod and plenty to get the cars to hear you before they see you.

I say get one and join the club.

P.S. Is this what you might be getting Mr. Miller? I hope so.

No 'might' about it! definitely getting one I'm just waiting for the money to come through, though I have already been looking/test riding some. Already been buying mods as well! Hehe, I bought this lot for $900 - about 375 pounds:

Should hopefully have one in the next 6 weeks.

Nice one! You'll love it. Can't wait to see your pics on track with it. I'm sure you can do it justice and am praying I can. Nice buy too. You'll have to let me know just how much of a difference the seat makes.

P.S. I've only just noticed I've been spelling your name wrong since day one. Sorry about that.

Yeah, I can't wait to get it on the track. That's my first use for it! I'm also looking at these:

http://www.tuneboy.com.au/

For re-mapping the ecu for the exhaust and filter. Seems much more flexible than a power commander and reading some threads on a daytona forum, you can use it to enable a quick-shift function, so you can upshift without rolling off. Should be fun on the track.

Man, i can't wait. It kind of sucks having all these bits but no bike to stick them to. Just hope that when I do get it, the weather will still be pretty sweet - It will be the end of the summer here.

I'll post some pics when i have some

How on Earth does it do that? I haven't read too much on them but got the dealer to check the latest software is in mine for the can. Will have to swat up. I'm not too keen on Triumph675.net That where you've been?

Sorry if I'm derailling. It's all fairly relevant though!

A mate showed us a load of videos of them being raced at the Manx last year. WHAT A SOUND!!!!!

After seeing the picture of one all livered up in police stickers, I want one badly. I finally got my bonus in this month pay cheque so will have to be nice to the lady of the house although she just bought a new mini with hers.

Are they really that small though for example I sat on a gsxr 600/750 and they are to small for me, I'm fairly damn flexible but just over 6ft and the frame just felt wrong. I guess only trying will tell.

If they did the Daytona with a proper engine, I'd have one tomorrow.

But they're only glorified 600s, so I can't really see the point.
