I hate the whole write off thing - but its because manufacturers charge the earth for fairings really...

When I was taken off my Daytona, I was originally going to buy it back - they said the buy back was 40%... but probs coz Triumph spares are few and far between.

I wish I'd done a deal with the scrappy - the guy picked it up with a chain, dumped it on his low loader, then put a car ontop of it

Well it seems to be a trend but i have been hedge surfing too.bruised and have sprung my collar bone!
The bike looks a mess. Will defo need a new lower fairing, nose cone, complete tail, screen, rear brake, two mirrors.was looking for parts but seem near impossible to source second hand.so am going to put it through insurance as it looking like an expensive roll.So what advice can you give me as what to do next!

Pointy upper cowl is only ?168 + vat. I don't think that is expensive compared to some prices I've seen. The lowers are ?344+ vat, which I think is stupid. Take a guess which bit is made in Japan and then shipped half way round the world, and which bits are made in Europe.
