Had a few !!!! moments myself lately and the same thing occurred to me. Gave everything a thorough clean, including garage floor. Possibly just paranoia, but better safe than sorry/stupid (which is what a crash for that reason would be).

On the track last Tuesday even when I was pushing it, my tyres were still no that warm, but I put that down to time of year ect...but as I have been told modern tyres are afr better than the majority if not all riders out there...

I would just take it easy before you open the throttle up and and start leaning whem you just set off its working for me, if your going slow there is more chance off putting that mistake right. I know for sure not going as fast saved me in the past few days, when someone pulled out in front of me.

Someone (not me honestly) crashed their scooter, right infront of the bus stop outside of Kingston Hill campus, a few weeks ago. Made me laugh....i was waiting to turn right into the uni and suddenly i hear scraping metal and a look over my shoulder shows it to be coming from a scooter.

The girl....no gloves and an open face helmet, just got up and walked off the road. It was probably stolen about 5 seconds later.

That however was topped by the guy parking his race rep 125 in the multistory car park and just as he got a few yards away....it toppled over.

I probably shouldn't have laughed....but i did.

Kingston if filled with funny people.

I guess this one is to be chalked up to a lesson learnt .. and at least it wasnt too painful on you or the bike. ..
