The old Rennsport Roads- which I think are the same as the Supercorsa, but I could be wrong- can be had very cheaply now too. Always seemed an excellent trackday tyre to me, less sensitive to heat cycles and a bit grippier when cold (or so I'm told, I bought my pair exactly 3 days before i did my leg in, and I've only done one gentle trackday since) They were ?110 new btw, that wasn't SV sizes though.

As sports/touring tyres go the Michelin Pilot Road2 2CT is a fantastic option. I've tried all manner of s/t tyres on all sorts of bikes and the Michelins were a bit of a gamble as I've never really got on with the froggy tyres in the past. I was converted, they really are that good, especially in the wet.

That's what's fitted to my CBR600 trackbike. I can get them for 129 quid a pair new in 120/60 and 160/60 sizes. I'll let you know what they're like after Feb 22nd (half day at Donington for set-up) cos I haven't ridden the CBR more than 15 yards since I bought it 6 months ago.

I had 2CTs on my Mille (which although on track in that vid, was a road bike, NOT a track bike), I am prejudice due to past experience, but I still think they are sh1te and its not like I haven't tried them!!

I had the 2CT's on my GSXR, better than the Bridgestone 014's I had before, but not as good as the Pirellia Diablo Corsa III's I have now.
