I reckon you have it looking good already, tailtidy would finish it off nicely.
Dont muck about with it to much IMHO. Save your money and get the front springs upgraded and then it'll be as nice to ride as it is to look at.

Yeah start playing with it maintenance wise, there's some pretty good mods out there for the handling like grafting in bits of other bikes which cost little.
Even the front end conversions aren't expensive, I'll more than likely break even on mine.

Bit of thread from the dead ere lol posted this ages ago!!!
I am thinking of doing the fork conversion atch put do you have to change the speed etc and can you keep the normal SV wheel? Either that or change and tart up the forks ive got like put in different springs and fork oil. Iv just done 20,000 miles what should i start to be aware of by now if at all anything? |

Yes there is a way of keeping the front wheel, but to be honest it is going to rack up the bill and its not worth it.
The cheapest and easiest way is to use a complete GSXR front end and hook the OEM speedo onto the rear axle/wheel, its easy! Or you can go for the current mod which is to use the magnets on the discs. |

It depends a wee bit on your weight... When the GSXR forks work well it's absolutely night and day when you compare with SV forks but if you're the wrong weight for 'em then they'll need more work, which can become expensive...
