I have to ride with the visor 1/2 an inch from closed otherwise the visor is full of condensation, although the lid has a vent at the front.

TBH its never been an issue leaving the gap.

use white vinagar to clean inside of visor, one of Baph's recomendations to me and it works a treat, no fog at all.

Buy yourself an Arai Condor and use just the plain visor and see how you get on. They mist up really badly, even with the visor slightly open. Washing up liquid has made a big difference.

Went to HG at lunchtime to have a look at the Foggy breath guard. These don't go well with the Arai Condor it seems. The fixing for the breath guard will cover over the chin vent holes. If the Condor had a screen vent as well it would be OK but it does not. As I already use a neck tube that cuts off a lot of ventilation the Foggy could make things worse.

Does anybody use one of these with a Condor? How do you rate them with the Condor?

Thanks
Tim.

When I am on my way to work in the winter mornings at about 05:30 its quite easy to mist up the visor but......
Learning to control your breathing can actually help loads. Think about your breathing and make it slow and gentle. Breathing through the nose helps also.

Mind you, if you are happy opening the visor a tad, then do that.

Been using a Condor for about 3 years now.

Got some pink stuff (anti fog) around then but its almost all gone so it's back to the Bob heath demist spray, not great but use it before u ride and its not too bad really.

Condor tho mists up really bad and as i cant just up the visor in fog (i wear glasses) or rain it's a real pain!.

Seriously, if you can affors it, go pinlock (way superior to a spray or WUL) or a different Arai lid.

I've got a Condor / PinLock combo and find it great, 99% of the time. The only bit that ever fogs up is the bit right under my nostrils, and even then it's rare.

It does get pretty damp in there from condensation though I must admit.

Correction to my earlier post, the Condor does have a screen vent. It is moulded into the polystyrene liner. Trouble with this is, if like me you carry your lid around by putting your hand through the screen opening and holding the chin area, it squashes this vent closed.

I think I will put couple of soft platic wedges in there to keep it apart from the outer shell, and then buy myself a Foggy Breath Guard.

I think this coupled with the Washing Up Liquid will work really well.

Thumbs down Re: Anti-Fog and Washing Up Liquid

To those that suggested that I get a Pin-Loc insert, I have one. As I pointed out in the original post, I find that this cuts down nightime vision on unlit roads.
