I dont recall seeing this anywhere in ACU regs. Just read through again and cant find anything regarding this.

Seems a bit daft to want to remove it though, might well save a large engine bill if you come off the bike.

i dont see much point in takeing it off either number one your not gona save much weight number 2 even no your racing i think it would still be ok on the bike and number 3 as flymo said it could well end up helping you out some time!

Just don't wonder why it won't run when switch is just dangling off side oh bike eh?
