1977-2007, clean and averaged about 45,000/year

then bloody scamera van. Road was NSL then 40. 2 days before I got my 3 points for doing 38mph they dropped it to 30 and put up a sign to say speed limit changed. But not what to. So 3 points

3 points for speeding in my old company car in July 2006. Those were the first points I'd had in 6 years - the previous ones were in an old Escort, both by cameras. When I was repping I was doing about 45K a year, so 6 points in 8 or 9 years is good. I haven't been done on a bike for about 10 years, which considering I do about 22K hooligan miles a year isn't bad.

Most of the time I'm speeding on open roads, but always stick to limits in 30s and 40s.

I cant imagine being at the 9 or even 11 point stage..... that would certainly put me on the straight and narrow....unless i didnt need a vehicle for my job

Did having that many points really effect insurance?

I was thinking about this this morning.
I have been stopped by the Police 5 times on my way home from work, never doing any other journey. Is this similar to everyone else?

Oh scrap that, just remembered the 2 times going to work

Probably only 8 or 9 thousand per year for 9 years in cars. Never stopped, clean license. I don't speed in any marked limits and I'm very cautious on motorways/carriageways. A-roads are a different matter.
18 months on a bike. About 8k miles, never speeding in marked limits, very cautious everywhere about getting stopped. Never stopped.

Alittle bit but not as much as you might think,it's mostly the modifications/extra's thet bump it up.

But in saying that i can still insure it fully comp for 12 months for around theŁ150 mark give or take a little.

I have only ever had 3 points since 17, but been stopped a few times manily casue I was going too fast, breath test once negative cause i just come out the gym. I used to drive a lot, but now a hell of lot less. I do more miles on my bike for fun now.

I keep under a ton the majoroty of the time, but I have yet to max my bike. To be honest speed doesn't set me on fire its more the skill of a good a fun ride, so twisty roads and country lanes where no one is. But very early morining is a good time to open the bike up.

I'll keep my thrills to the track, and whatever else I get up too. I'm aderlin junkie so I'll get fix one way or another
