Well just came back through all the rain and wind on me new storms.
I cant tell the difference, now thats probably a good thing I had them ancient d220's taken off considering I was riding on shiny new tyres on muddy roads in the pouring rain.
I asked while i was ther how much it would have cost to fit Storms supplied by Lobitos on a ride in ride out basis: ?192.00
Considering I paid 150 squid and then 40 quid to have them done ride in ride out that makes a grand difference of bugger all.
The lad who fits the bike tyres for them seemed to know what he was doing and on certain weekends he is in all day saturday and sunday.
I think I'll give Lobitos a thumbs up

Well dude, Colwyn Bay Motorcycles quoted ?190 fitted and Buckley Tyres wanted ?210 (robbing gits). Getting them fitted for ?177 by F&B in Sandbach. Mine are slightly bigger on the viffer so maybe ?5-10 pounds a pair more

Bah!
I knew I should have rang up Colwyn Bay. Guess I'm still struggling under the assumption that Honda Center = Dear.
Its a long way to Sandbach for me mind....
Also didnt have to book Lobitos. You do at Colwyn Bay?

Well they done my viffer servicing up to now cos of the warranty (and never really happy with A&D). They seem pretty reasonable. Last service was £120 which is OK. They pointed out my front was low and offered to replace it there and then (Bridgestone in stock) or £190 for a pair of Storms. I reckon they would need calling to get tyres in but I will bear them in mind in the future.

F&B have had a good press on here and I'll get a chance to scrub the new tyres in on way back (perhaps not looking at weather!)

Everytime I've called Colwyn Bay they've refused to do ride in ride out. It has been a long while since I called them though.
