Blumin 'eck Mel, twice in a week?
![]() Maybe you could attach them to a little karabina thing and hook it somewhere on your person, like a belt loop or something? maybe keep a spare attached to your bike/car keys? |

I have house keys on my bike keys and car keys. I dont do any other form of transport, so always have a key on me. However, i did lock myself out the other day..you know the thing, ' Oh i'll just put something in the bin' then the oh f*ck slowmo moment when you try to catch the door before it shuts!! It was snowing, cold, i was in joggers and a t-shirt, mobile indoors! ****!
However, i found that its surprisingly easy to break into a house using an electical scewdriver! So there you have carry an electrical screwdriver round with you. |

When my mum started to get forgetful we had a digital lock fitted to the back door, it worked for a while.

Quite often I'll leave the house without a key to get back in, so I buried a spare key in an easy to get to but hidden from sight point of the back garden. It's wrapped up in clingfilm to stop it getting manky and has a cable tie through the hole that sticks up out of the ground. I know roughly where it is, and scrabbling around for it with my hand usually finds the cable-tie pretty quickly. Once I've got into the house I just put new clingfilm around it and bury it again.

Install a key pad? Cheap and you will not loose the keys again.
