Can you repair front fork corrosion?

Have you got a photo of polished forks, either with or without lacquer?

that sv restorer is very useful indeed

over the long summer i shall be getting my beginner hands on the bike and tidy some of it up like the forks and all the other eroded bits and bobs!

Well it's part of this site. The forum was introduced a couple of years after the main site first came into being, mainly to reduce the workload for the admin at the time. The forum has since grown into a independant web resource in it's own right. Each site has its place. each it's strengths and weaknesses but together.....

Allow a weekend to do it.

These are our forks after we were out in the rain last weekend. Just washed the bike down with water to get all the crap off. We will run a WD40 soaked cloth or maybe Autosol them later. These have not been relacquered
