true, but if you are going to gamble you might as well only do it when the odds are such that beting in the manor i described gives u a very healthy chance. No different to stocks and shares in a downwards trending market.

Yup you could use a few cars and bikes so big guns and a bank, it quick it has money, though making it far with the money is another altogther

Point is presuming the bookies are all thinking the same sort of way, the margins are bound to be small, but put enough cash in and that doesn't matter ... for instance 0.1% of 50,000 is £50 ... do that over and over and you are making money ... if you KNOW that the odds are such that it is impossible to not at least get your original bet back whatever the outcome (but potentially win the £50), then who cares???

It was a good one first time I heard it ... and indeed, even if only 2 in 10 customers are too embarrassed to put cheque in, if you can get 100 customers a week, that is £500/week (less stamps and envelopes) for doing feck all other than post off the cheques

SoulKiss, I wouldn't be so sure on that score. There can be someone watching at any point in time. All that needs to happen is the staff in the shop flag you as "dodgy" and give our call centre a ring. Heypresto, we're VNC'd on the terminal and have CCTV access to the site. We can watch what the machine is doing, and what you're doing to it on CCTV (so long as the machine is covered).

The other prospect I have involves me doing next to nothing, for a decent annual figure. Negotiations have started, and so long as they don't fall through, I will hopefully be self-employed again (only without the 18hour+ days this time!).
