i was looking 2 completely do away with it but i dont really mind alot if i cant.

I've told you how to do it
![]() If you want more info then I'll check colours in wiring diagram in the morra. IIRC theres a grey one and a pink one, ignore them. Red and orange are main live that need putting to some sort of switch. The black/white and the final wire need a resistor between them.

I need to look at a wiring diagram before I answer that, I don't know how much current the running circuits draw.

Right... looking at the wiring diagram in haynes, it appears that the handlebar switch only runs the coils + fuel pump. ECU system has it's own fuse which appears to always be live (when ignition on)
So... I have no idea whether the handlebar switch will handle the current draw of both ignition and fuelling. If you want to do this, then run the fuel system on a relay to be on the safe side... or try it and see what happens, but don't cry to me if it burns the handlebar switch out. p.s I'm never making a wiring loom for a pointy
