I was totally freaking out at my first trackday this year, I have no idea why, it took me 2 sessions to remember to have fun, and even then I was slow, overcautious... The second I got out on track I was thinking "Why am I doing this". Weird.

I've got my first track day at Castle Combe next month as well - what date are you going on, mine's the 18th June.

Just take it steady to begin with and go faster when you want to.

I found the amazing thing on track is how much you brake for corners compared to on the road.

Have lots of fun. Get some photos, have more fun and come back in one piece.
